ELITE HEARING of Colorado Springs was established after Dr. Nichole Kovel, AuD, and her family moved to Colorado Springs in 2012.  Recognizing that the need for a more focused adult tinnitus and hearing healthcare facility in southern Colorado, the private practice was established using the latest diagnostic testing equipment, hearing aid programming and verification systems and an integrated tinnitus therapy program.  We have co-located with the ELITE VISION office for your patient’s hearing, tinnitus and vision needs.

The Mission at ELITE HEARING is to provide cutting-edge hearing & tinnitus solutions for Colorado Springs while establishing community connections and becoming a part of building a better community for the hearing and the hearing impaired.  We take an active role in providing information to the hearing impaired as well as the community and our colleagues to achieve this mission.

Dr. Nichole Kovel, AuD has spent the majority of the past 10 years working for Mile High Hearing & Balance, the audiology department of Mile High Otolaryngology.  There, she worked in a busy two-physician, multiple audiologist setting performing diagnostic hearing, tinnitus and balance testing as well as treating the hearing impaired with hearing aids.  Dr. Kovel also practiced in a branch of Hearing Life, a national private practice group, for 1.5 years.

Dr. Nichole Kovel, AuD, graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Doctorate in Audiology degree in 2005.  In 2002, she interned at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale AZ and the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind in Colorado Springs.  Prior to graduation, her clinical rotation was at Mile High Otolaryngology (MHO).  Nichole is a Board Certified Audiologist as a member of the Audiology Doctors of America, in addition she is a Member of the Colorado Academy of Audiology (CAA) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA).  As a new business in Colorado Springs, she has joined the Colorado Springs Business Alliance.
